Race report by Michał Milanowicz
The round 3 of the Polish National Championship was held this past weekend at outdoor track in town Jelcz-Laskowice in Poland. The track was with a new layout, technical with some fast sections. After few practice laps I managed to get use to it. The track had a low grip so everyone had to fight with the car and carefully operate with the gas. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get the TQ duel to my lack of grip on the rear in the turns.

The Polish National Championship in formula class is tricky, you can use max 17,5T motor, foam or rubber tires and timing on ESC. But more and more drivers are racing according to the new EFRA rules :) which is great news and the racing will get even better :)

The event was separated in two days: Saturday with qualifications and Sunday with finals.

In the qualification we had 40°C and even in this temperature we had a problem with rear grip. I started with the basic setup, just like I was planning. I was trying to gain more grip on the rear, with some help from Jan Ratheisky I manage to find a nice setup. Ended the qualification on 2nd spot. I had a really nice fight with Robert Okoński, in every qualification we were driving head to head and we were the only one to make 15 laps.

On Sunday we started the finals, the weather was crazy - we had 20°C and some rain.
A1 - due to the colder weather the car felt better. The start was good but in the first lap I wanted to go too fast in the turn and rolled out from the track. Had to fight my way back to the front. Ended the A1 on 2nd position.
A2 - I decided to drive smoother in the turns to not roll out again. I was right behind Robert but unfortunately I had a contact with another driver when passing him and lost some seconds. And again ended up on 2nd position.
A3 - due to the weather the A3 didn’t start, it was raining too much.

XRAY X1 was the most popular chassis on the track. 7 X1 in A-main - that only shows that the car is the best choice :)
